2023 Infiniti QX60 Models, Exterior, Redesign – People who miss the old Infiniti FX should enjoy this. For the first time ever, a crossover coupe version of the 2023 Infiniti QX60 premium crossover SUV has been unveiled. The QX60’s bones are shared with its more conventionally-styled sister, despite the sharper exterior design of this BMW X4 competitor. Infiniti calls the QX60 a “statement maker,” and that’s exactly what it is. For its distinctive roofline, the QX60 is often referred to as a “spiritual successor” to the FX by the luxury Japanese carmaker. Rather than luxury coupes and sedans, this market segment is becoming increasingly popular.
2023 Infiniti QX60 Redesign
Even in this new iteration, FX’s spirit is clearly evident. The 2023 QX60’s double-arch grille features an Origami-inspired mesh inspired by the rest of the Infiniti lineup. The grille is flanked by two sets of LED headlights, one on each side. The fog lights are surrounded by black accents. Incorporating the shunt lines into the front fenders was one of the design goals of the clamshell hood. The hood is attached to the A-pillar via a four-link hinge. Rear-facing “piano key” taillights feature 45 individual LED bulbs and blend in seamlessly with the elongated roofline. There are eight exterior colors available, including Dynamic Sunstone Red and Slate Gray.
Interior
This time around, interior design was significantly influenced by Japanese art. Aside from a few similarities to the QX50, the 2023 Infiniti QX60 has its own distinct style. Semi-aniline leather in Graphite and Monaco Red/Graphite are just two examples of the numerous color combinations available in this leather. The leatherette upholstery and dark brushed aluminum trim that come standard on the Luxe model are a luxurious touch. Front seats with “Zero Gravity” technology are included as standard equipment to help reduce fatigue. The sensory trim features open-pore wood trim in the cabin. The QX60 is the first Infiniti to come equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay. All QX60 models come standard with two high-resolution touchscreen displays. With Android Auto, the phone must be connected to the car’s USB port in order for it to work. Head-up displays with a 9-inch screen are also available.
Engine
The QX60s come standard with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 268 horsepower and 281 lb-ft of torque. Besides being the first mass-produced variable compression engine in the world, it’s a really neat engine in general. The engine’s compression ratio can be adjusted from 14:1 to 8:1 for maximum fuel efficiency and performance. Standard, Eco, and Personal modes can be selected for the driver’s preference.
The clever all-wheel-drive system is powered by a single gearbox option: a continuously variable transmission. You can help your vehicle’s traction by sending as much as half of your available engine power to the rear wheels. Body Control Motion and an independent four-wheel suspension system ensure precise handling and a comfortable ride for the driver and passengers.
2023 Infiniti QX60 Release Date And Price
2023 Infiniti QX60 least expensive model, the QX50 ($37,950), will be more expensive in 2023 than the QX60 ($40,950). The QX60 is expected to go on sale in spring 2023, with a starting price of $45,000. The BMW X4, Mercedes GLC, Audi Q3 Sportback, and Range Rover Evoque are some of the more well-known competitors in the compact luxury crossover coupe segment. The QX60 may be the most visually appealing of the group.
