2024 Infiniti QX60 Engine, Horsepower, Specs – Is there a way to have that sparkle even if you can’t afford a Rolex watch or a sprawling estate? As a mid-size luxury crossover that doesn’t break the bank but still has enough power and features to get you around, the 2024 Infiniti QX60 is a good choice. The interior isn’t as nice as, say, an Audi Q7, but it’s still a nice and functional car that won’t cost you an arm and a leg. Your next-door neighbor will think you’ve finally arrived when you buy this for $44,350 less than the Audi Q7.
2024 Infiniti QX60 Redesign
Since the exterior design of the 2024 Infiniti QX60 automobile is so plain and unremarkable, it is unlikely to arouse the ire of law enforcement, but it is also unlikely to offend anybody. LED lights in the front and back are provided, and a high-mounted stoplight in the middle. Standard features for the 2024 QX60 include an 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheel, 235/65R18 all-season tires, and power-folding and heated outside mirrors with integrated turn signals.
Front door handle courtesy lights, rear privacy glass, and a power liftgate at the back add to the QX60’s practicality and usability. Luxury versions also come with a reverse tilt-down function. Exterior options include all-wheel drive, power moonroofs with motorized sunshades for the second and third rows, and much more.
Interior
The inside of the new 2024 QX60, despite its minimalist outward design, has a comfortable and high-end vibe. However, the QX60 falls short of Infiniti’s ambition of making the car seem opulent like some of the more costly German products. The high basic price is compensated for by a multitude of interior options. There are a lot of great features in this car. It has an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, and a three-zone automatic temperature control system.
There is a rear door alert, clever keyless entry with push-button start, speech recognition, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror with a HomeLink universal transceiver in the basic model, as well as other tech features. Heated seats, memory for the driver’s seat, and remote engine start are standard features in these vehicles. Driver assistance features include pre-collision warning and blind-spot monitoring.
Engine
With a 3.5-liter V6 engine in the Infiniti QX60 and a 3.0-liter V6 turbocharged engine in the German Audi Q7, the latter has a smaller capacity but more power. New for 2015 are a direct injection fuel system, a revised air intake system, and other little adjustments that add up to an extra 30 horsepower and 22 lb-ft of torque to the QX60’s naturally aspirated V6 engine.
The turbo-assisted Audi Q7’s greater performance will leave you feeling duped after trying the engine’s refinement and low-down torque enhancements. Infiniti’s intelligent all-wheel-drive system and a continuously variable automatic gearbox keep up with the powertrain, but the car’s raw scream detracts from the overall smoothness of the vehicle.
2024 Infiniti QX60 Release Date and Price
As far as choices go, the 2019 QX60 has only two trim levels and two drivetrains to choose from. It will cost an extra $2,000 on top of the $44,355 basic price to acquire the AWD model. With a price tag of just around $2,000 more than the base model, we think the Luxe FWD is the best value. With the addition of an additional $1,800, you get a heated steering wheel, rear bumper protection, and two-way power lumbar support in the driver’s seat. To name just a few, the Luxe model is equipped with remote engine start, reverse tilt-down mirrors, driver seat and steering wheel entrance and exit aids, as well as an ignition smart key memory system. Luxe variants come standard with a 13-speaker Bose premium sound system.
